
CREATIVE BRAND COMMUNICATION
The Creative Brand Communication degree is there to help us, students, develop our creative thinking, problem-solving, concept developing, and crafting skills in the working environment of brand communication.
The degree also provides critical thinking skills and insight about how the degree can be put into practice in the “real-world”. The degree requires students to work in multi-disciplinary teams in order to engage and experience real-world scenarios. Industry briefs are given to groups where students will have to innovate and design solutions and executions to problems. Creative brand communication is split into three different disciplines: copywriting, multimedia design and visual communication, from which students are expected to choose only one to graduate with.
VISUAL COMMUNICATION
When choosing Visual Communication as a core discipline, students will explore a range of media platforms such as web, mobile and social media. “Visual communication is a hybrid of art direction and graphic design”
Visual communication covers visual literacy and crafting skills; these being photography, art direction (film and narrative), identity design, typography, layout design, drawing and illustration, packaging, etc.

Career opportunities involved with the visual communication discipline are: Graphic designer, illustrator, art director, animator, photographer, graphic artist, user experience designer, information designer, experiential designer, social media marketer, online marketer, creative director.
